A Pintastic Week - 22.06.2014

Hi!

I know, it has been awfully long since I wrote another post. I have been so busy with activities outside university and exams that I didn't have inspiration nor felt like writing a blog post...

So, I'm trying to get it rolling again. I'm finishing a pair of shorts, so you can expect them sometime within the next two weeks (I still have two more exams to go, so no time for pictures right now). I thought I'd start with a simple post and share some of my favourite pins with you again.

1. I really liked this article on Refinery29 about how to dress if you have a big bust.

2. I must admit, I am jealous of ChiWei's amazing card catalogs that she uses to store her craft supplies (and the rest of her craft room as well).

3. This cross body bag from Burda is very cute, and the best part is, the pattern is free!

 4. Kristina Bazan looks breathtaking in her V Label London dress...

This is it for today, please keep your fingers crossed for me!

PNP: Bell Jar Shaker Card

Hi!

I made this card with last week's free shape from Silhouette, which is a bell jar on a (cake) stand with a pot of flowers in it. I decided to use only the bell jar and cake stand shapes. I covered the bell jar with clear plastic foil, and cut some flowers and butterflies to use as confetti. It is my first attempt at a shaker card and while there is room for improvement (it doesn't shake as well as I wished, but hey, it shakes!), I like the outcome.

Outfit inspiration: floral

Hi!

It's getting warmer and I can finally start wearing my Spring wardrobe again.
This calls for floral outfits, so I decided to do a little round-up :)

A Pintastic Week - 30.03.2014

Hi guys!

I hope everyone had a fantastic week! I know I had, it has been busy, but also super fun! On Wednesday I went to a lecture about the business behind fashion, and on Friday I attended my student's body gala. I finished my dress just in time - a lot of stress involved. Picture(s) will follow as soon as they are put online by the gala photographer (I forgot my Kodak - sad face). And maybe I'll do a shoot with it, along with my previous gala dress. I should really do that actually.

Anyway, it is the end of the week and so it is time for my weekly round-up!

1. Outfit from the Paule Ka Black Carpet Collection

2. A beautiful lacy Skater dress by Peneloping

3. Fashion illustrations by Hayden Williams on Miss Kris

4. This amazing DIY office desk on A Beautiful Mess

Good night!

A Pintastic Week - 23.03.2014

Hi!

I hope everyone had a great weekend! I worked a lot on my evening gown, only five days remaining until the gala, and I still have to do the skirt. Fingers crossed, and as Tim Gunn says, 'make it work'!

In the mean time, I have also pinned a few things (or rather, a lot), and I'm sharing this weeks favourites.

1. This great outfit from Essentiel Antwerp

2. Mini citrus tarts on A Beautiful Mess

3. Another foodie moment, these Tiramisu cupcakes with raspberries (thank God for Google Translate!)

5. A simple, but clever card. I love how they put the hearts in a circle and have them overlap each other.

That's it for today, good night!

Lawnscaping challenge no. 78: clean and simple

Hi!

Today I want to share the card I made for the Lawnscaping challenge.
This is the challenge:

I made this card for my grandfather's 80th birthday, and thought it perfectly met the challenge:

Have a great weekend!
